Hyderabad  28th September 2023: Maxivision Super Speciality Eye Hospitals (“Maxivision”), one of India’s leading and fastest-growing chain of private eye care hospitals, has launched its world-class Super Specialty Eye Hospital in Tanjore, Tamil Nadu, today (28th September 2023). Maxivision operates around 40 hospitals in the states of Telangana, AP, and Gujarat and is one of the leading eye care chains in India, poised to be a 100-hospital network in 2025.

Thiru T.R.B. Rajaa, Hon’ble Minister for Industries, Government of Tamil Nadu inaugurated the hospital in the presence of Thiru Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, Hon’ble Minister for School Education, Government of Tamil Nadu; Dr. GSK Velu, Promoter & Chairman, Maxivision; Mr. A Ganesan, Director, Maxivision; Mr. VS Sudheer, Chief Executive Officer, Maxivision; Dr.ShibuVarkey, Regional Medical Director,Tamil Nadu Maxivisionand Dr.Sivavignesh, Chief Medical Officer, Tanjore  Maxivision. This launch was done as a part of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Maxivision and the Government of Tamil Nadu earlier this month, Project Velicham.

Tanjore is a Super Specialty Eye Hospital, with over 7000 square feet of space, with all state-of-the-art ophthalmic surgical and diagnostic equipment. The Centre is also equipped with three gold-standard, infection control theatres with modular HEPA filters. Dr.Siva Vignesh, Dr.Eeswari, Dr.Ramya, are full-time senior ophthalmologists who will perform all surgeries and diagnostics, and Dr.Shibu Varkey, Regional Head for Tamil Nadu, and his team of Super specialists will be visiting consultants to operate various specialty eye clinics, in this eye hospital in Tanjore. The hospital will offer the entire gamut of eye care services which includes Cataract Surgery, Glaucoma Surgeries, Diabetic Retina lasers and surgeries, LASIK and Robotic eye surgeries, a specialty clinic for Diabetic Retinal issues, Oculoplasty, and Paediatric Eye Care. This centre is equipped with the world’s best technology equipment for advanced eye care treatments with an investment of over 4 Crores. This centre will have a pharmacy and optical store with all types of prescription glasses, frames, and specialty lenses ranging from Rs.300 to 15000. Neuberg Diagnostics, our associate company and one of the leading reference laboratory chains will operate a 24/7 pathology collection centre in this hospital and home care services in pathology in and around Tanjore.
