Launched to mark National Cleanliness Day 2024, the store will spread awareness around cleanliness and hygiene amongst customers across the country
Delhi, January 31, 2024: As a significant step to accelerate the Government of India’s goals of universal sanitation coverage and to reinforce the importance of cleanliness, Amazon India along with Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Minister of Jal Shakti, Government of India, launched the ‘Swachhata Store’. Aligning with Government of India’s vision of a cleaner and healthier India, this initiative aims to support the Swachh Bharat Mission, the world’s largest sanitation initiative. The ‘Swachhata Store’ will offer great deals on more than 20,000 cleaning products such as Vacuum cleaners, Sanitaryware, Water Purifiers, Mops & Brooms & much more from Indian sellers, SMEs and manufacturers. Alongside educating the customers about the health benefits of maintaining a clean
environment, this store will serve as a one-stop destination with easy access to essential items that promote cleanliness and hygiene.
