Wishes and Blessings, a Delhi-based NGO dedicated to helping those in need, is hosting a fundraising concert with the internationallyrenownedQawwali troupe, the Niazi Brothers. The event, called Jashn-E-Qawwali, which is a celebration of the art of Qawwals, is scheduled for 10th May 2024, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Kamani Auditorium, New Delhi. The tickets to this show are on available for sale at Paytm Insider, pricedRs. 499 only. 

The NGO has been organizing the fund raising event, Jashn-e-Qawwali for the last two years with different objectives at its programmes. This third edition of the concert aims to raise funds for the expansion of the NGO’s newly launched initiative of Community Kitchen – WB Rasoi.

Dr.Geetanjali Chopra, Founder, and President, Wishes and Blessings saysThis will be our third edition ofJashn-E-Qawwali and we are extremely excited about it. The last two editions have been overwhelming for us and the kind of contribution we received from the earlier fund raising programmes have helped us execute different projects across the country. This time, we are organising this concert with an aim to raise contributions to provide the basic necessity for any human being – the food. We have recently launched a community kitchen in NOIDA to serve the underprivileged and wish to take expand this initiative. The funds we receive from this concert will directly be used in WB Rasoi programme”.

On their upcoming performance at the fund raising event, ShahidNiazi, one of the artists of the Niazi Brothers trope, says, It is our privilege to perform for the third time for a noble cause. The NGO has been working tremendously for the last 10 years and this is our bit towards Wishes and Blessings. We hope to perform our best at Jash-e-Qawwali in Delhi on May 10.”
