To foster sportsmanship and cultivate the talents of young climbers, Climb City, India’s largest indoor wall climbing destination, recently organized the Kids Climbing Championship at Climb City in Sector 132, NOIDA. The event, curated for young climbers aged 6 to 16 years, proved as an exhilarating showcase of talent, determination, and sportsmanship among the children.
These children registered themselves, from different parts of the county – Delhi, Noida, Pune, Bangalore, Sikkim and many others, for the competition. More than 70 kids participated in different categories spanning ages 6-9 years, 10-12 years, and 13-16 years. The enthusiasm for the competition was profound. After rigorous qualification rounds, 8 climbers from each age category earned their spot in the finals, both girls and boys.
The day started with enthusiasts registering themselves in the morning and spent the entire day with competitive vigour. The championship provided a platform for budding climbers to test their skills and compete for a whopping prize worth 1 Lakh for the winners across all the 3 categories. The 2nd and 3rd rank holders also were honoured with overwhelming prizes. Souvenirs were presented to all the participating kids.
“This competition not only showcased the talent and dedication of our young climbers but also reinforced our commitment to promoting climbing sports in India” said, Pranav Jain, Founder, Climb City.
