With summer (and summer vacations) at their peak, Indians across the country are busy making travel plans.
And KFC is all for this wanderlusting. The ongoing International Burger Fest features five distinct Zinger burgers inspired by global flavours. The campaign urges fans to ‘take a bite, take a flight’ to experience flavours from India, USA, Mexico, and Caribbean.
Taking this thought forward in a series of Instagram posts, KFC set out to inspire burger lovers to take ‘a trip to the USA, Mexico and the Caribbean, with just one Zinger bite!’ On seeing this, several leading brands jumped onto the conversation and engaged in a witty banter with KFC. Whether it was for flight bookings, or travel gear, or shopping or insurance – brands left no opportunity unanswered to inspire consumers with enough and more reasons to travel.
boAt took a quirky spin and said “Navigate your way to the USA, Mexico, Caribbean with boat Wave Sigma 3”. Cleartrip wittily urged travellers to ‘A trip to the USA, Mexico and the Caribbean with just one flight!’, while Inorbit Malls encouraged consumers to “Create the perfect OOTDs for trips to the USA, Mexico, or the Caribbean”, SkyBags said that one can “Pack for the USA, Mexico and the Caribbean in style” and Coolberg reiterated that their non-alcoholic beverage “Goes well with the flavours of the USA, Mexico and the Caribbean”. And these were just a few of the witty responses spotted.
