SLAT, previously a part of the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET), serves as the gateway for admission to the four prestigious Symbiosis Law Schools (SLS) in Pune, Hyderabad, Noida, and Nagpur. Candidates aiming to join undergraduate law programmes such as B.A. LL.B (Hons), B.B.A. LL.B (Hons), B.A. LL.B or B.B.A. LL.B are advised to submit their applications according to the guidelines.
The test will be conducted in 77 cities across India and is designed to comprehensively evaluate the aptitude of candidates. The test format is as follows:

The registration fee is INR 2250 per test, with an additional fee of INR 1000 per programme for college selection. Importantly, SLAT allows candidates to attempt the test twice, with the best score being considered for evaluation. The specific timings of the tests will be communicated to candidates via their Admit Cards. Notably, there is no negative marking in SLAT 2025, which differentiates it from other law entrance tests .

Read the instructions and accept the Terms and Conditions by clicking ‘Continue.’

Fill in the required details, then click ‘Save & Continue’ to receive an OTP via email and SMS. Enter the OTP to complete the submission.
Upon successful registration, candidates will receive their SLAT ID and password via email and SMS. The non-refundable registration fee of INR 2250 per test must be paid (additional government taxes may apply). For any queries, candidates can log in with their SLAT ID and raise a query. It is crucial to maintain a valid email and mobile number throughout the process and ensure that all information provided corresponds accurately with the candidate’s credentials. The registration deadline is November 22, 2024 (Friday), and no changes will be allowed after registration. Symbiosis International University (SIU) reserves the right to cancel any candidature if incorrect information is provided.
This test provides candidates with the opportunity to gain admission to Symbiosis Law School (SLS) Pune, one of India’s oldest and most prestigious law schools, established in 1977, predating the National Law Universities (NLUs). SLS Pune is renowned for its strong legacy, impressive placement records, and significant international and industry collaborations. Notably, SLS Pune achieved the highest international placement package of 52 LPA and a commendable domestic package of 19.5 LPA, making it a distinguished choice for aspiring legal professionals.
