Sony Entertainment Television continues to capture the audience’s attention as it delivers high-quality, non-fiction programming throughout the week. Its flagship shows, Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) and India’s Best Dancer (IBD) have shown consistent growth with 11% and 23% increase respectively in the average viewership, solidifying their position as prime-time favorites.

In its 16th season, Kaun Banega Crorepati, hosted by the iconic Amitabh Bachchan, kept fans on the edge of their seats as two contestants attempted the one-crore-rupee question. Ujjwal Prajapat left with INR 50 Lakhs, while 22-year-old Chander Prakash, a UPSC aspirant from Jammu & Kashmir, won the coveted prize money of INR 1Cr. The host’s emotional quotient, coupled with the show’s high-stakes moments and engaging format has once again proven to be a major draw for viewers across India, with an average time spent of 40.9 Minutes.
