Delhi NCR, November 21, 2024- The School of Fine Arts and Design at Noida International University (NIU) hosted a thought-provoking and inspiring Art Talk with renowned international artist and educator Prof. Chawky Frenn. The event, titled “20th Century Artists Confronting War: Art as a Voice for Peace,” brought together students, faculty, and art enthusiasts for a memorable exploration of the intersection of art, war, peace, and social justice.

Prof. Chawky Frenn captivated the students with his insightful lecture. He delved into how 20th-century artists have harnessed creativity to confront the harsh realities of war while advocating for peace and transformation. Highlighting the enduring legacy of these works, he emphasized the universal language of art in expressing human suffering, hope, and shared aspirations for a more just and peaceful world. He also thanked Dr. Nihar for an opportunity to meet and learn about the program and campus, and share the passion and experience with the students.
