Nov 30, 2012: All those users who had a Gmail account and were not happy with 25MB limit for attachment are in for good news. Now the Gmail users can send files as attachment up to 10 GB with the help of Google Drive, Google’s cloud storage service. The facility allows the users to directly insert files up to 10GB from Google Drive without leaving Gmail. The users in order to send the attachment of 10 GB size need to transfer the file to Google Drive first. The link of the file in Google Drive can also be sent across and this will allow the receiver who has Google Drive to view it real time. The Gmail account holders need to have Google Drive for this and the existing Google Drive users can find this feature in the new compose box. If the users are still using the old look of Google Drive, they need to opt for the new look.
