Dec 25, 2012: In one of the most revolutionary moves which might change movie viewing in India, Kamal Haasan’s Viswaroopam which was earlier decided to be released on DTH in Tamil only will now have a release of Telugu and Hindi versions as well. The movie will be released on Sun TV, Airtel, Dish TV, Videocon and Reliance Digital on Jan 10th, 2013. Tata Sky is also in talks with the producers for releasing the movie on DTH platform. The movie is slated to release in theatres on Jan 11th, 2013. On DTH, only one show will be there and the charge for Hindi and Telugu version will be Rs. 500 and for Tamil version it would be Rs. 1000. The Producer and Director of the movie Kamal Haasan is expecting the movie to gross more than Rs. 150 crore.
