Dec 26, 2012: Britannia as part of product extension into F&B launched a milk based beverage ‘Masala Chaas’ in Kerala. The product priced at Rs. 15 for 15o ml pack is convenient and ready to use. Masala Chaas has got natural ingredients like ginger, curry leaves and asjeera. Britannia is trying to capitalise on the growing demand for ready to use food products. Off late people have been increasingly preferring homemade tasting convenient products as they don’t have time to spend on preparing them.
