Dec 29, 2012: Amar Chitra Katha which was founded in 1967 by Anant Pai is one of the largest selling book series in India with the books available in 20 Indian languages. Ideas Box a subsidiary of Amar Chitra Katha has tied up with ZeeQ, the Edutainment Channel of Zee Network to beam 26 episodes of Amar Chitra Katha over 26 weeks. The episodes will be beamed till April 2013. 26 episodes will include stories of Birbal, Bhagat Singh, Asoka, Chanakya etc. ZeeQ which caters to the students of age 4 to 14 has acquired these episodes from Ideas Box for three years.
