Mumbai, 30th August, 2022: ABP Majha is back with its annual festive program “Bappa Majha.” Through this program, ABP Majha will cover the celebrations of Ganesh Chaturthi across the state of Maharashtra. Starting from August 31, the festival and its coverage will last till September 9. This year’s Bappa Majha will feature a number of interesting programmes, including Ganesh Akhyan, Ganpati Bulletins, and coverage of the morning and evening aartis at well-known Ganpati Temples in Mumbai and Pune.
Given the two-year gap in celebrations caused by COVID, Bappa Majha’s campaign theme, this year, is “celebrations,” encouraging viewers to rejoice with newfound enthusiasm.
ABP Majha has partnered with NGOs over the previous two years. It has kept up the tradition this year as well and teamed up with CRY, a child rights NGO, with the intention of extending the warmth of the festival to underprivileged by assisting in their provision of nutrition and education. The fundamental requirements for children’s development are proper nutrition and education since kids will learn more effectively if their minds are healthy. CRY and ABP Majha have teamed up to address this issue to safeguard India’s most vulnerable children by ensuring that they receive proper nourishment and education that will give them a chance at a better future.
The channel has planned an elaborate set of programmes from August 31 – September 9, 2022. The first program ‘Ganesh Akhyan’ will go on air on ABP Majha from August 31. The program will feature Dhanashree Lele, who will narrate one story everyday about Ganesha and sketches will be made based on the story.
Bappa Mazya Gallitla – This program will feature 10 celebrities from various fields. Through this show they will be taken down the memory lane and visit Bappa of their childhood.
The viewers will also receive daily updates about the celebrations of Ganesh Utsav in the state through special morning and evening bulletins.
Like previous years, this year too ABP Majha is organizing the Majha Vighnaharta Awards. This honour was established three years ago to recognise those who eliminate impediments for those in need and act as Vighnahartas. The Majha Vighnaharta will be held on September 6 at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai.
