BP Majha’s ‘Majha Maharashtra Majha Vision’ sheds light on state matters

Mumbai, January 27, 2023: ABP Majha, Maharashtra’s leading news channel, successfully concluded its highly anticipated event, Majha Maharashtra Majha Vision, at BKC Trident, Mumbai. This one-of-a-kind event saw eminent leaders of Maharashtra present their vision for the state. It was an insightful platform to understand Maharashtra’s potential and the way forward. 

The event saw a remarkable start with the session of Eknath Shinde, Chief Minister of Maharashtra, where he stated that “Mumbai will become pothole-free in the next 2-2.5 years, and all the roads will be developed without hurting the environment.”

Meanwhile Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra put a spotlight on the development of the state. He said, “The Government is trying to make a grid of expressways which will act like economic corridors for various regions of the state.”

Addressing the water crisis faced by the state, Devendra Fadnavis highlighted that they are trying to bring water from the rivers to the Vidharbha and Marathwada region through various projects. He also said that the government is aiming to bring Maharashtra to the number one position in FDI rankings.

Some other prominent personalities also attended the sessions, which included Raj Thackeray (Maharashtra Navnirman Sena Chief). While expressing his thoughts, Thackeray said that “It is high time that instead of asking leaders to share the vision of Maharashtra, discussions be organised where they are asked to share the status of the vision which they had shared around 10 years back.”

On the other hand, Ashok Chavan (former Chief Minister of Maharashtra) said, “Keeping aside the political role, the development of Maharashtra should be the focal point.” He also highlighted the important issues like unemployment, investment disparity, declining export, subpar infrastructure in Maharashtra. 

The event also witnessed the presence of Jayant Patil (Senior NCP Leader), Sudhir Mungantivar (Minister of Forests, Cultural Affairs, and Fisheries),Uday Samant (Minister of Industries) and Sanjay Raut (MP, Rajya Sabha and Leader, Shiv Sena).
