ABP Studios is a production and content company based in Mumbai that blends a common knowledge expertise in India with a team of experts in their own field. The studio provides a broad variety of services such as IP Development, distribution, co-production of fiction & non-fiction material through multiple channels, Licensing & Syndication services, Brand Solutions, Second Screen and Interactive content.
Driven by a team of multilingual, platform-agnostic storytellers, the studio will deliver path-breaking content to help re-imagine the nation’s stories from a view that transcends ‘black and white.’ It will deepen into the gray areas of each story, with an immense emphasis on the Indian context. The Studios will recognize, compile and cultivate stories from various regions that connect and unite a nation as diverse as India. The founders of ABP Studios claim that heart stories have no vocabulary. Their hope is that local Indian stories should become world stories and not be constrained in their appeal. In line with the general goal of the network, the content of the production company claims to have a ‘purpose.’ It will encourage Indian and foreign viewers to “join” rather than flee from their realities.
