Acceldata is a unique Data Observability platform for Enterprises, has declared $8.5 million in funding raised in series A. The funding was led by Sorenson Ventures. Lightspeed and Emergent Ventures also became an investor for Acceldata.

Various global enterprises like GE, Michelin, and PhonePe (Walmart) rely on Acceldata’s data observability platform for cross-sectional visibility into AI and analytical systems. Acceldata Platform assists businesses to identify, predict, and fix data issues, which could impact business outcomes severely and also business continuity with the use of synthesized signals across infrastructure, workload, and usage into a single glass pane. Enterprise data teams can now perform at the same level as the globally advanced technology company.

The platform uses advanced Artificial Intelligence and machine learning to simplify data operations and solve data issues in real-time. At the same time, it also reduces the time taken to identify and solve issues. Overall, it also reduces system licensing costs and enhance enterprise success.

According to Rohit Choudary, Founder, and CEO of Acceldata, it gives data management and observability tools that enable enterprises to accelerate their business in today’s data-driven time.

I have seen in Hortonworks, how enterprises struggle to generate substantial ROI on their data investments. They are constraint due to a lack of resources and experience to build effective observability solutions for operating large scale distributed data systems. Acceldata’s data observability platform aims to help enterprises enable their data success with its built-in AI and analytics systems.

GE Digital was one of Acceldata’s early customers, used Acceldata’s observability platform to distinguish the suboptimal algorithm of machine learning and OLAP queries on AWS installations using Hadoop. They have used Acceldata’s observability platform to improvise its data platform. GE Digital was able to accelerate system performance, maintain sub-second queries, terminate outages, SLAs for its centralized Finance Data Lake aiding to various GE business units.

Customers of Acceldata can operate different data technologies with Acceldata at scale like Google Dataproc, Apache, Spark, Flink, Kafka, and many more. The platform provides an integrated command center for multi-cluster data and workload management and recommends an ideal configuration for it. Comprehensively, it also recognizes AI and analytics observability needs across inter-system SLA management, data quality, technology re-platforming, and performance.
