Actor Ashok Kumar Balakrishna #AKB Marks 23rd Film Milestone in 'EMAIL' - A Gripping Action Thriller
Tamil actor Ashok Kumar Balakrishna, also known as ‘Murugaa’ ASHOK, is set to make his 23rd appearance in the Tamil film industry with the upcoming Action Thriller, “EMAIL,” directed by Mr. SR Rajan. The film features Ragini Dwivedi as the female lead and boasts a diverse cast and crew from both the Tamil and Kannada film industries. Scheduled for release on February 09 in Tamil and Kannada, the movie explores themes of online gaming, scams and the lengths one is willing to go to protect loved ones.
The storyline of “EMAIL” revolves around the enticing yet perilous world of online gaming, delving into the fine line between excitement and addiction. As the narrative unfolds, the protagonist faces the harsh reality that the game is not merely entertainment but a dangerous scam, leading to a high-stakes struggle for the lives of loved ones.
Avinash Gavaskar’s musical compositions and Jubin’s background score contribute to setting the tone for the intense drama. The film’s climax is highlighted by a meticulously choreographed fight sequence featuring Kung Fu Fighters under the direction of Bir Master from Nepal.
The journey of creating this film was not without challenges. During a daring stunt sequence, Ashok Kumar Balakrishna sustained an injury, including a deep cut to his ear, resulting in profuse bleeding. Despite the setback, Ashok demonstrated resilience by taking a couple of painkiller injections during the lunch break and promptly resuming shooting, postponing the stitches for later.
When asked about his decision to continue filming instead of seeking immediate medical attention, Ashok stated, “The producer’s money is at stake, and I can’t keep the fighters, cameramen, and crew waiting. My biggest lesson and mantra in life are – Come What May, The Show Must Go On!”
In conclusion, Ashok Kumar Balakrishna expresses confidence that any pain endured during the filming process will fade away once the audience experiences the film. He acknowledges the audience’s love, support, blessings and encouragement as the most significant motivators for growth and progress.
“EMAIL” offers a cinematic experience transcending boundaries, presenting a gripping narrative of suspense, action, and determination. Audiences in Tamil and Kannada can catch this extraordinary tale in theatres starting February 09.
