Actress Kenisha Awasthi is a stunner and a sensation in the true sense of the term. Her charisma and charm know no limits and that’s why, every photo or video that she shares on her Instagram handle oozes positivity and confidence like no other.
With more than 1.2 million followers on her Instagram handle, Kenisha has always been at the forefront when it comes to giving her fans a sneak-peek into her wonderful fitness journey. The gym videos would often make everyone curious about her routine. Well, guess what? Finally, she’s revealed it all herself. During a recent conversation, Kenisha revealed that she managed to lose as many as 15 kgs organically in the last 1 year. Yes, that’s right. Kenisha says and we quote,
“Well, I lost 15 kgs in the last one year. I was able to do that because of my trainer Nikhil Bhagat who is an athlete himself. He trains super athletes as well as other celebrities. The credit for losing weight goes to a specialized workout plan which was focused on weight-training coupled with cardiovascular exercises. It was more of weight training and little of cardio since I needed to ensure that I wasn’t losing any muscle in the process. The idea was to become leaner and toned. Also, I have changed my diet and have been following an intermittent one. So, post 5pm, I don’t eat any carbohydrates and that has really helped. Also, I was away from maida, junk food, sandwiches and anything junk. Nowadays, I eat one proper meal a day which is either a heavy breakfast or heavy lunch. The idea is to make it protein-heavy. I also try to include eggs and cereals etc in my diet. I truly feel diet has been the main reason behind that alongside a strenuous weight-training programme. I am trying to do a lot more because now, I am more motivated. Now, I want to see more cuts and a more toned body and hopefully, by Mid-March, I will successfully achieve that. Fingers crossed.”
