Its conceptualized by GJC who has the best interest of the consumer as well as the jewellers community and hence its designed in a way that the benefits are passed on to both the buyer and the seller. We are a not-for-profit industry body and the transparent process has also restored customers’ faith in the jewellery business as a whole. During the festival we are disbursing upto 50 kg Gold, 500 kg Silver and 5 Cr worth of bumper prizes to consumers. And I feel that is one of the reasons that we are seeing so much excitement about IJSF among the industry and consumers at large.
Mr Saiyam Mehra, Chairman, Chairman GJC said, “We are happy with the overwhelming response that IJSF has generated from the industry and the customers. Our aim is to make India a jewellery tourism hub. Several industry participants have benefitted from the ongoing festival which is why they are also supporting IJSF by promoting it on their own. I am sure that IJSF will grow into a much bigger and most anticipated jewellery shopping event in the years to come.”
Mr. Manoj Jha, Joint Convenor, added, “IJSF is now almost on its halfway mark and we are happy with the way the event is progressing. It is helping retailers to generate more business and customers to take advantage of the offers and buy more with the same amount of investment. So, it’s a win-win for all. The digital and physical ongoing initiatives have enabled jewellery enthusiasts to restore customers’ trust and helped them with secure and long-lasting investments.”
