Adar Poonawaalla, the chief of Serum Institute of India, has bought a 20% stake in Wakau Interactive Pvt Ltd.

Wakau, a subsidiary of JetSynthesys, offers a one-of-a-kind combination of mobile-first screen experience and short video content. Poonawalla has joined Wakau’s league of well-known investors, including legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan.
