New Delhi,14th January 2025: India’s pioneering housing society management platform ADDA.io, which has widespread global presence across more than 10 countries, recently hosted the most awaited event in housing society segment in association with the Bangalore Apartments’ Federation – an Exclusive Workshop for Estate Managers of large-scale premises. The event, which was attended by more than 100 representatives from high-end, large communities such as Godrej E City, Brigade Orchards, Prestige Ferns Residency, Mantri Greens, Salarpuria Greenage, etc. aimed at empowering Estate Managers with tools, strategies and insights to revolutionize community living across the nation, thereby elevating the living standards of over 200 million Indians residing in gated communities.
Sharing her thoughts about the event, ADDA.io Co-Founder and CEO San Banerjee said, “Apartment living is the new living standard in cities. However, there is no training program for the key persons who manages this living experience – the Estate Managers. The speakers at the event covered a number of critical issues that often hamper the harmony of housing societies. For instance, Vinod KC, a senior Estate Manager from Brigade Developers shared insights on how to ensure seamless handover from the builder to the Estate Managers. While Suresh Babu, from CACS, a veteran with 35+ years of experience, presently Estate Manager at Divyashree Republic of Whitefield, enlightened the audience on how to deal with Resident Conflicts.
Another speaker, Malini Parmar, co-founder of Stonesoup.in, and NITI Aayog’s “75 Women Transforming India” honouree, talked about waste disposal challenges in Bangalore, where around 10,000 Tonne of waste is generated per day, and how large scale communities can create a huge impact, “Not mixing waste in the first place, removes need to segregate them later. This along with composting in-situ can reduce waste generation to the tune to almost 80%”,” said Malini, a well known name in the waste management space being among 25 women entrepreneurs invited by the President in 2024 and being named the UN Women Industry Disruptor in 2021. Vinay Thyagaraj, a published author and Governing Council Member of Bangalore Apartments’ Federation & National Real Estate Development Council, meanwhile, shared tips and financial statutory compliance norms to help communities save from spending Lakhs on tax or other government penalties.
This comes just days after ADDA.io was adjudged the ‘Best Tenant Engagement Solution of the Year’ at the World Realty Congress, a prestigious global event to recognize and reward excellence in the real estate industry. It was for the third consecutive year when ADDA received laurels at the World Realty Congress, which was earlier referred to as the International Real Estate Community Management Summit (IRECMS).
