As a significant sporting year begins, Adidas continues its ‘Impossible Is Nothing’ tale by announcing its largest-ever investment to women. The brand will support people who are breaking down barriers and driving gender equity, both on and off the field of play since they believe that sport has the potential to impact lives.
The pledge, which was announced alongside the latest chapter in the brand’s ‘Impossible Is Nothing’ campaign, focuses on three critical areas:
Products: Major investments in women-focused product innovation will be made in 2022 in order to recognize and address the special needs of women in sport. The business released Ultraboost22 in December, designed to address disparities in male and female instep height, heel anatomy, and gait cycle patterns; and will continue to offer innovations throughout the year, beginning with an entirely new approach to sports bras.
People: Adidas is a long-standing partner of some of the world’s finest athletes, teams, and artists. Sport has the capacity to transform people’s lives. Adidas continues to encourage women by pushing them to develop new possibilities through powerful messages from their strong women athlete partnerships, which include Mirabai Chanu, Lovlina Borgohain, and Hima Das, reaffirming the same brand mindset. They would utilize their experiences to motivate women all over the world to pursue a career in athletics.
Sunil Gupta, Senior Director, Brand Adidas, India, remarked at the launch that ‘Impossible Is Nothing’ isn’t just a campaign, but the core of who they are and what they stand for. They reiterate their commitment to women in 2022.
He stated that as part of this commitment, this season’s ‘Impossible Is Nothing’ campaign is led by stories of women who have made the impossible possible, with the goal of motivating others to do the same under the “I’m Possible” motto. Adidas will remain an ally, committed to supporting them through product and partnership innovation.
This campaign will be launched globally with a film series featuring a diverse portfolio of famous women from sport, fitness, and lifestyle. Deepika Padukone, Mirabai Chanu, Lolina Borgohain, and a slew of other remarkable women will appear in the Indian campaign.
By collaborating with them, Adidas will continue to advocate for meaningful, long-term change by making sports more accessible and inclusive to all women in India.
