Jan 14, 2013: We have heard about coffee lounges and coffee bars but Tea lounge. Wagh Bakri Tea promoted by Gujarat Tea Processors and Packers is trying to popularise this new concept and they are not only targeting the Indian market but also neighbouring countries in West Asia. The promoters are coming out with this unique concept for tea lovers who relish drinking tea. The company is planning to start tea lounges through large format stores owned by the company. Presently Wagh Bakri has three small stores in some airports in Gujarat.
Wagh Bakri Tea which has presence in over 30 countries is planning to start their operations in Iran, Iraq, Egypt and Saudi Arabia. They are looking into those places where especially alcohol consumption is banned.
