Ageas Federal Life Insurance launches new campaign

Ageas Federal Life Insurance today announced the start of a campaign aimed particularly at parents, using Sachin Tendulkar as its brand ambassador. The campaign film is a fresh, contemporary method of storytelling, using Deep Fake AI Video Regeneration Technology to accurately reproduce an 11-year-old Sachin.

In the film, a quietly confident young Sachin records a message for his older self about being fearless in the face of adversity. He tells parents not to fear the future but to prepare for it at the end of the film, based on his childhood memories.

Early life insurance purchases free parents from financial constraints and enable them to plan for a secure future for their children.

Karthik Raman, Chief Marketing Officer and Head – Products, Ageas Federal Life Insurance, spoke about the campaign’s significance, saying that their Brand Ambassador, Sachin Tendulkar, is the perfect embodiment of being #FutureFearless.

He persevered with determination to achieve his dreams and build his future, unfazed by any obstacles that life threw at him. The goal of this campaign is to leverage Sachin’s example to urge parents to make sensible financial decisions for their children’s future.

They are going through a difficult time, but with financial discipline and timely life insurance investments, parents may assist their children to achieve their courageous aspirations.

In collaboration with VMLY&R India, the #FutureFearless campaign was conceived and developed. It’s a fully digital campaign that includes social media platforms, influencer pages, and various digital media such as OTT platforms and news sites.

Mukund Olety, Chief Creative Officer, VMLY&R India, remarked of the campaign, “It’s incredible what they can achieve with technology. They can tell stories that have never been told before.

They needed an inspirational person to persuade parents that improved financial planning from Ageas Federal Life Insurance could help them overcome their worries, and who better than Sachin, the 11-year-old protagonist.

While they were aware that we could accomplish this using technology like DeepFake AI, they lacked any pre-existing videos of Sachin as a toddler. Instead of letting this deter them, they devised their technological solutions.

Mukund went on to say that this is likely the first time a person’s age has been reduced by that much. Not only that, but the voice has been de-aged as well. They recorded the adult Sachin and de-aged his voice to ensure that it had realistic notes and nuances, which are characteristics that people recognise today.
