Aimazing, Singapore’s premier retail data platform for mall management, has announced the appointment of a new leader to its staff. Imran Mohamad has been promoted to Head of Marketing, where he will be in charge of the group’s overarching brand and marketing objectives, as well as designing the brand’s positioning and market strategy.

Imran has more than nine years of marketing strategy and general management experience. He was most recently the Head of Marketing for Shopback Singapore, where he was in charge of the platform’s client acquisition and revenue maximization.

He was also a Director at the Singapore Malay Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SMCCI), where he represented over 900 business members and oversaw the Protege Kita incubation program, which was funded by Enterprise Singapore.

“We are living at an exciting period in the industry, as physical retail is being disrupted at an unprecedented rate. Aimazing is prepared to expand our solution into different countries across the world, positioning itself as the top player in the industry for malls to grasp all real-time sales data that occurs on a daily basis.

Our ability to communicate our unique value proposition to leading and boutique retail mall managers will be critical in cementing the company’s position as the leading real-time retail sales data analytics player. Imran has the knowledge and capabilities to manage the marketing efforts,” stated Jun Ting, Aimazing’s Chief Executive Officer.

“He has the ideal combination of organizational leadership, marketing experience, and digital expertise that we need to greatly improve the performance of our communication efforts, collaborations, and channels,” says the CEO.

“This is an extraordinarily exciting time to be a member of Aimazing,” Imran added. The firm is changing the game in retail with a patented solution that will alter how data is obtained, unified, and analyzed within shopping malls, resulting in a trifecta of victories for consumers, malls, and retail merchants.

It’s exciting to build the team and projects to truly be the “Google Analytics” of physical and we’re already strategizing for the following year with various digital and communication strategies.”

Aimazing received the official appointment before launching its retail analytics, which allows mall operators to use technology to gather, structure, and sort real-time retail transactions. Imran also co-hosts a category-defining podcast interview show on ‘The Future of Retail Asia’ with CEO Jun Ting to keep the dialogue going.

By bringing in experts and players in the sector, such as Mr. Lim Ming Yan, Chairman of the Singapore Business Federation and former Group CEO of CapitaLand Limited, the exhibition hopes to shed light on what retailers might expect in the near future.

GROW public relations, a boutique PR agency in Singapore that works with venture-backed start-ups and SMEs, was recently hired as the retail-tech company’s agency on record. The public relations firm has a track record of assisting ambitious high-growth firms in capturing a significant portion of the market by providing them with the attention they require.
