Airtel and Vedantu come hand in hand to bring education on home TV

The DTH arm of Bharati Airtel (Airtel), and the online learning platform Vedantu comes together in an innovative partnership to make quality education accessible by all students of India by leveraging the deep reach of Airtel. Vedantu and Airtel Digital TV come together to bring education to the home TV screen.

Airtel is a multinational telecommunication service company that operates in 18 countries across South Asia and Africa. Airtel is also known as Bharati Airtel Limited has now come up with an innovative education style with Vedantu an Indian interactive online tutorial platform where teachers provide tuitions for the students over the internet.  Vedantu is an interactive online tutorial platform founded 9 years ago in 2011. The head behind the online interactive tutorial platform “the Vedantu” was Vamsi Krishna, Pulkit Jain, Saurabh Saxena, Anand Prakash, these people have found the future needs way before. This helps them take a step forward with Airtel.

Under the partnership of two dedicated DTH channels as well as Vedantu Masterclasses will be available to 17 million customers of Airtel TV at a highly affordable price of Rs.4 per day. The step by Airtel to make a partnership with Vedantu can help many students from an economically backward family who cannot afford a smartphone. TV’s are available in every corner of the country, this innovative idea will result in greater achievement for Airtel as well as the Vedantu.

The channel focuses on students from class 6 to 10 standard students and class 11 to 12 respectively and will cover both Maths and Science. The teaching through Airtel will be made with the best-in-class faculties including graduates from IIM (Indian Institute of Management) and AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) with a proven track record in teaching. The medium of language of teaching will be a mix of English and Hindi, and the plans are underway to add more languages.
