The Telecom giant Bharti Airtel, on Tuesday, announces that it will launch its 5G services in the cities- of Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, and Rourkela in the state of Odisha. At Kalinga and Birsa Munda stadiums in Bhubaneswar and Rourkela, where the upcoming Men’s Hockey World Cup is to be conducted, 5G services are already deployed by the company is what the company has said.
In a phased manner, the customers will get access to the use of the 5G services gradually with the sequential completion of the construction and rolling out of the respective services. Customers owing the fifth-generation mobile system (5G)-enabled devices will easily access the Airtel 5G Plus network without needing to pay any extra cost until the roll-out is at a wider spread per the released statement.
The network will get augmented by Airtel expanding its services across the whole state in due course of time.
The Chief Operating Officer of Bharti Airtel on Odisha, Soumendra Sahu said, “We are enthralled to equip the men’s hockey world cup hosting two stadiums in the cities of Odisha. Customers can experience the feel of a superfast network that will allow them to stream high-definition video, multiple chatting, instant uploading of photos and videos, and more.”
“In the city of Rourkela and the cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar, we are also about to roll out our 5G services in near future From now, customers can have the experience of an ultrafast network that has speeds up to 20-30 times faster than the current 4G speeds.”, he said further.
On Friday, the roll-out of 5G services was also got announced in Hisar and Rohtak by the Telecom giant, Expanding the spread of 5G network services in Haryana. Airtel has already started its 5G services in Gurugram and Panipat.
Hisar and Rohtak will also get access to the ultrafast Airtel 5G Plus services along with Gurugram and Panipat. The customers will get access to Airtel 5G Plus services in a phased manner as the company is gradually constructing and rolling out the network.
Customers don’t need to pay any extra cost until the roll-out is at a wider spread as per the released statement by Airtel.
