Commences sale for daily direct flights connecting Abu Dhabi with Mumbai
Abu Dhabi is Akasa Air’s fourth international destination
Akasa Air, India’s fastest-growing airline, expanded its global presence by adding Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, as the fourth international destination to its growing network. Starting 11th July 2024, Akasa Air will operate daily direct flights connecting Abu Dhabi with Mumbai, catering to the growing travel demand between India and the UAE, and further strengthening the air travel link between India and the Middle East. Bookings for flights are now open on Akasa Air’s website www.akasaair.com, Android and iOS app and through multiple leading OTAs.

In addition, in an endeavour to make travel inclusive, Akasa Air has introduced its safety instruction card and onboard menu card in Braille for persons with visual impairment.
Akasa Air forayed into international skies with the launch of operations to Doha, the capital of Qatar, on 28th March 2024. In May 2024, the airline announced operations from Jeddah and commenced operations from Riyadh in June 2024. The addition of Abu Dhabi to the airline’s network will further strengthen the airline’s presence in the Gulf region and provide impetus to Abu Dhabi’s Tourism Strategy 2030 which aims to increase visitors to 39.3 million by 2030.
Akasa Air has also been granted traffic rights for two other international destinations namely Kuwait, and Medina, and will continue to rapidly expand its global presence in the coming months.
