Alankrita Sahai is an absolute delight and pleasure to watch on-screen and we know it. Be it an actress who’s constantly on the rise in terms of popularity to being super selective about her projects that help her cement her niche in the industry, Alankrita is certainly making all the street-smart moves that one needs to make in her career to progress forward. Well, seems like despite being super selective and focusing more on quality ahead of quantity, she still seems to be quite swamped with work. Well, that’s exactly why, she had to specifically adjust her work schedule in order to be with her family on the important day of Dussehra celebrations.
Alankrita shares and we quote,
“Well, I had been keeping very busy prior to Navratri and even after Navratri begun, it has been more of work for me till about Saptami and I am blessed. From event appearance commitments to photoshoots, workshops for upcoming projects and meetings, I have all lined up around this time. There’s no way you can or should complain when God blesses you with good work prospects and opportunities and hence, my priority was work ahead of celebrations this year. However, since I didn’t get much time to celebrate with family this year, I decided to delay my work travel plan by a day just to be there with family for Dussehra. Dussehra is all about the good and positive dominating the evil and what better company than your family to feel this essence. To add to that, I had some special plans when it came to decorating my house for the special day. From lighting up the house to decorating it with flowers, there’s a lot I had in mind. I am enjoying this phase of balancing between work and personal life. Everything is a priority at the end of the day and I am just getting better day by day when it comes to balancing both worlds. I wish all my well-wishers and fans a very Happy Dussehra. Staying good and staying kind should be the mantra.”
