July 12, 2014: Alia Bhatt who has been giving back to back hits in Bollywood has been signed as the new brand ambassador for Hero Motocorp. With this endorsement she joins the likes of Kareena Kapoor, Big B, SRK and Anil Kapoor and other stars who have endorsed cars. Alia Bhatt would be starting her association with Hero Motorcorp with a new ad campaign for Pleasure which has been Hero’s best selling scooters. This is not the first time that a Bollywood actor is being used to endorse scooters even actors like Priyanka Chopra and Ranbir Kapoor have endorsed scooters earlier. Ranbir Kapoor is the brand ambassador of Hero Maestro scooters which is targeted at men.
Alia Bhatt who started her Bollywood career with a hit ‘Student of the Year’ has been following up with power pack performances in Highway, 2 States and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya. Her movie 2 States has even made into the Rs.100 crore club and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya which released this Friday has taken a good opening at the box office. Alia who is considered as a youth icon would be shooting the ad for Hero Pleasure in Manali in the last week of this month. Apart from this endorsement she also has some interesting movies lined up for release and would be the face of the some other brands as well in the days to come.
