In India, Alienware has introduced its first AMD-powered gaming laptop in over a decade. The AMD Ryzen R7-5800 H-Series mobile CPUs and Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 Series GPUs are featured in the Alienware m15 R5 Ryzen Edition. This is Alienware’s first notebook featuring AMD CPUs and Nvidia graphics.
The Alienware m15 R6 gaming laptop, the company’s first 11th generation Intel Core processor-powered gaming machine, has also been introduced. The laptop also has Nvidia GeForce RTX 30-series graphics under the hood. Alienware 9 (and by extension Dell) believes that its products will tap into the growing gaming culture in India. The Core i7-11800H Tiger Lake-H CPU is available in the Alienware m15 R6. The Nvidia RTX 3060 and RTX 3080 laptop GPUs, which provide Dynamic Boost up to 10W, are among the graphics choices. It includes an Alienware mSeries 4-Zone AlienFX RGB keyboard with anti-ghosting technology and 1.7mm key travel, as well as a normal Alienware mSeries 4-Zone AlienFX RGB keyboard with anti-ghosting technology. Dual-array microphones with Windows Hello IR for biometric experiences are included in the Alienware HD (1280720 resolution) camera. For an immersive experience, the new m15 R5 and R6 laptops combine cutting-edge technology and creative designs, including many firsts. For seamless gameplay, Alienware’s 15-inch notebook display features either an FHD 165Hz or QHD 240Hz panel.
Comfort View Plus hardware-based reduced blue-light technology and TUV certification are included in all three display options for longer sessions that are gentle on the eyes. On the 240Hz display, both laptops have Nvidia G-Sync and Advanced Optimus technology, as well as a 240W power adaptor. The laptops also provide an immersive experience, with the First Legend 2.0-based laptops sporting a new Dark Core design that darkens the inside shade to reduce distractions. These are Alienware’s first 15-inch laptops, and they come with 3,200MHz DDR4 RAM and two SO-DIMM ports for upgrades. The Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650 wireless is included in the R5 and R6, as well as many ports for 4K/120Hz native experiences with external monitors and a 2.5Gbps Ethernet connector. For setups with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 or above, the R6 also supports Thunderbolt 4. The two figures come in the ‘Dark Side of the Moon’ colour scheme, which has a high-durability clear coat and a silky-smooth paint technique. The Alienware m15 R5 costs Rs 1, 34,990 (including GST) on Dell.com, while the Alienware m15 R6 costs Rs 1, 59,990 (including GST).
