Amazon Business, a platform that provides purchasing solutions for registered businesses to shop for business supplies on Amazon has announced ‘MSME Accelerate’ which will run till 20th June. This new initiative on Amazon.in/Business will feature selection, deals, discounts, and savings to help small businesses kick start operations as they cater to new demands, with the gradual lifting of the nationwide lockdown. The event will feature selection from both brands and MSMEs with over 3.7 lakh sellers on the marketplace.
In such grueling times, the event would offer an outstanding opportunity for sellers to receive orders for larger quantities.
MSME customers will have the option to leverage the event as a one-stop place to avail a wide variety of top category products to fulfill numerous needs, specifically for creating a healthy and safe workspace.
Businesses which have employees coming back to office amid COVID-19 threat can buy a wide range of products to ensure the safety of employees, create clean and hygienic workspaces, ensure social distancing set up is created in the office, have essential COVID protection and screening supplies and cater to basic work supplies like Office stationery, IT Peripherals, Breakroom supplies, Air Conditioners and Air Coolers. Businesses can also buy essentials to create efficient work from the home setup for employees choosing to work from home.

Through MSME Accelerate, Amazon India also attempts to help lakhs of sellers reach millions of businesses. The e-commerce giant has partnered with brands such as Dell, Lenovo, Netgear, Sony, SanDisk, Canon, Daikin, LG, Whirlpool, Panasonic , Godrej and Samsung among others for the successful implementation of the campaign.
Speaking on the move, Peter George, Director of Amazon Business, said that the company is thrilled to introduce the MSME Accelerate initiative to help businesses ignite their operations along with a wide variety of products to satisfy all the emerging needs like maintaining workplace hygiene and safety or facilitating work from home.
