Amazon Studios declared that it has greenlit international fan favourite series Good Omens for another season. Several award-winning actors Michael Sheen, (Quiz, Staged) and David Tennant (Des, Staged) are confirmed to return to their featuring roles as the angel Aziraphale and demon Crowley, the non-probable duo that teamed up to save the planet from the apocalypse.

The subsequent season of the six-part entertaining unreal drama will begin taping later this year in Scotland and will debut on Amazon Prime Video in more than 240 nations and regions around the globe at a later date. The novel season will discover narratives that go outside the creative source material to illuminate the mysterious attachment between Aziraphale, a fussy angel and rare book merchant, and the fast-living fiend Crowley. Having been on soil since The Commencement and with the Apocalypse thwarted, Aziraphale and Crowley are getting back to calm living amongst mortals in London’s Soho when an unpredicted messenger gifts an astonishing secret.

Neil Gaiman endures as managerial producer and will co-show run along with executive producer Douglas Mackinnon, who will also be coming back to direct. John Finnemore, Rob Wilkins, and BBC Studios Productions’ Head of Comedy Josh Cole will likewise executively produce, with Finnemore helping as co-writer together with Gaiman. Good Omens is grounded on the well-loved and worldwide bestselling novel ‘Good Omens’ by Terry Pratchett (Hogfather) and Gaiman. The new series is produced by Amazon Studios, BBC Studios Productions, Narrativia, and The Blank Corporation. Neil Gaiman said that it’s thirty-one years since ‘Good Omens’ was issued, which means it’s thirty-two years since Terry Pratchett and Gaiman lay in the individual beds in a Seattle hotel room at a World Fantasy Convention, and conspired the upshot. He got to use bits of the outcome in Good Omens, that’s where the angels came from.

Good Omens released internationally as a partial series on Prime Video in May 2019 and is built on the beloved 1990 novel, Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch, by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. The Hugo Honour winning the first season, favourite among millions of fervent global fans, stars Michael Sheen, David Tennant, Jon Hamm, Nick Offerman, Jack Whitehall, Mireille Enos, Miranda Richardson, Adria Arjona, Michael McKean, Anna Maxwell Martin, and more. With this statement, Amazon Studios stays its association with Gaiman, who has a complete agreement with the studio.
