Nov 29, 2012: Leading FMCG direct selling player, Amway is planning to set up a R&D center in India for manufacturing customized products, including organic in health, ayurvedic and beauty for Indian market. Amway India MD and CEO William S Pinckney, told the media “Our focus is on India and globally is on health and beauty categories…we see there is a lot of potential for these categories.” Amway seems to be increasing their focus on Indian market especially in beauty and healthcare segments as they contribute around 55% of its revenues.
