New Delhi, December 2022:

Be it the biggest icons, upcoming artists or passionate music enthusiasts, Ray-Ban has been ubiquitous across the realm of music all over the world. The choice of visionaries and culture creators, Ray-Ban continues to aspire for the ones that create today’s way of life, guided by their inner force and with courage. Building on its association with Magnetic Fields Festival, Ray-Ban returned to the desert to celebrate local and contemporary music and culture for Indian audiences. Held at the dunes of Alsisar Mahal after a brief hiatus, the 3-day musical extravaganza gave the attendees an immersive musical experience.

Ray-Ban Desert Oasis Stage and Ray-Ban Afterparty brought the finest sounds from contemporary and Indian artists. Ray-Ban also showcased its installation of music and lights at the festival, a unique transformative space that responds to natural shifts from day to night.

The Ray-Ban Music and Light showcase was a carefully programmed light and music installation that translated light movement and sonic textures to dynamic emotions, moods and energies. The colors of the showcase were inspired from Ray-Ban’s Wayfarer Colorblock collection, featuring sunglasses designed especially for festival goers.

The Ray-Ban Desert Oasis stage saw the finest electronic sounds over the course of the three days. A unique stage experience that offered dance music lovers their own stage every noon as they shook off the night’s sleep and immersed themselves into the music during the day. Kicking off the dancefloor on Friday afternoon was Girls Night Out and Friends, a showcase featuring Delhi-based selectors Girls Night Out, Bast and DJ Pants. The following day, Amsterdam’s formidable crate-digger Young Marco took to the decks alongside Bangalore-based DJ and Boiler Room alum, Alina and fellow city dweller and producer AAGUU. This was followed by New Delhi’s Pagal Records on Sunday, along with a hard-hitting set by Zionwolf. On the finale night, Chloé Robinson closed the final act for all star-gazers.

The Ray-Ban Afterparty was the highlight of the festival, with Seoul-born Berlin-based party starter, DJ Fart in the Club, closing the festival with immersive sounds that got the attendees grooving the night away to their tunes.
