Andaz Delhi and Khoya Mithai kickstart the Festive Season with a Mithai Making Workshop

1st October, New Delhi: Andaz Delhi, a luxury lifestyle hotel by Hyatt, and Khoya Mithai hosted a Mithai Making Workshop, on Friday, the 30th of September, 4 pm onwards. With the aim of kickstarting the festivities, and stepping into the festive mood, Andaz Delhi and Khoya Mithai joined hands to curate a sweet evening of Mithais and Festive Goodness.

The event was attended by long-term staying guests at the hotel, as well as a few content creators and journalists. The workshop was initiated by Siddharth Mathur, the founder of Khoya Mithai, who first gave a brief introduction on the art of mithai-making and how intricate it is, followed by a step-by-step tutorial for all the guests by Mr. Mathur on how to make their own mithais. Mr. Mathur has over 10 years of experience in the Food and Beverage industry and launched Khoya Mithai in 2016, out of love, a passion for bringing high quality artisanal mithai, and all things sweet and beautiful.

All the guests learned how to make Khoya’s signature Pink Coconut Ladoos, Bikaneri Burfi and Modaks, after which all the handcrafted mithais were packed for the guests to take home. Post the workshop, all the attendees headed towards the festive hi-tea that was specially curated by Andaz Delhi for the event. The menu included Jalebi Chat, Donut Pav Bhaji, Paneer Pepper Fry, Malabari Paratha Quesadilla, Gulab Jamun Thandai Mousse and many more exquisite savoury and sweet items.

Having kickstarted the festive season with the mithai making event, the hotel is all set to begin their festivies in full spirits.
