Apple Inc is all set to introduce the next generation iPhone and iPad variants on March 15. The company aims to let these devices on sale in the very same week of their launch, as per 9to5Mac.

Apple is expected to unveil a 4 inch iPhone that is likely to be dubbed iPhone 5se and an iPad Air at the March 15 launch event. It seems to be unlikely to accept pre-orders for these new devices, as per the blog. It is likely claimed that the ‘se’ in the name might indicate special edition. An earlier allegation indicated that the device might be called iPhone 6c. The device is expected to be priced between $400 and $500 that makes it quite affordable in comparison to the larger iPhone models available in the market.

The Cupertino base tech giant has seen a great dip in the demand for the iPhones. There has been a 0.4% increase in the shipments of the iPhones in the first quarter of the current fiscal. This is the slowest increase in the sales of iPhone ever since the device was launched initially in 2007.

The upcoming 4 inch model of the iPhone to be called iPhone 5se is designed in order to spur the hardware upgrades for the users who seek faster devices that need no upgrading \to bigger devices like iPhone 6s.

As per the rumor mills, the compact iPhone 5se might arrive with an Apple A9 chipset along with M9 motion co-processor. It is also likely to feature an 8 MP iSight camera at its back and a 1.3 MP FaceTime front facer for video conferencing. This shows that dispute the compact size, the iPhone 5se is packed with enough power for its size.

Whatever the rumors speculate, we need to await an official confirmation from Apple to know more details about the upcoming iPhone model.
