Apple Watch was unveiled in April, but it has taken quite a considerable time to be rolled out in many of the global countries. Though there has been a long delay in the release of the Apple Watch in India, the wait seems to be over as the device is likely to be launched officially in the country in the next week. The company is also in plans to launch the Apple Pay and more Apple Stores in India. This will require a local manufacturing in India. Right now, Apple relies on the resellers for the distribution purposes.
The official website of Apple India has listed on Friday that the Apple Watch will be made available in the country from November 6. The Cupertino based company has not revealed anything related to the price of the smartwatch yet. However, there are expectations that the Apple Watch will carry a price tag of Rs 36,999 onwards in the country.
In April this year, Grabmore.in, the cross border e-commerce company started accepting pre-orders for the Apple Watch in the country for a price of Rs 36,999. The e-commerce player Grabmore.in usually receives the right pricing details of the Apple products before the devices are launched in the country for the Indian customers. This is the reason that there is an expectation that the Apple Watch might be priced at Rs 36,999 onwards. We can expect the base model of the Apple Watch Sport to carry a price tag of Rs 36,999.
The delay in the Apple Watch launch can be attributed to the reason that the manufacturer is considering to retail the sell the device even in the jewelry stores. This is because the Apple Watch is considered even as a fashion accessory besides being a gadget. The manufacturer might also announce the launch of the Hermes Band along with the custom watch face.
