Creator software solutions provider AppX has acquired Superpage, a startup that enabled the creation of websites for social media influencers. The acquisition is for an undisclosed amount. The amalgamation of the two digital platforms will provide the opportunity to launch websites and online businesses within 10 minutes.

Backed by Ycombinator – an American technology startup – with 1.3 million US dollars, AppX aims for this acquisition to provide creators with a full suite of tools to begin their online businesses in a matter of minutes.

The technology will also enable the creators to build their Superpage websites along with customized mobile apps.

Superpage is a one-stop website builder founded by Vyshnavi Mudumby and Srivatsa Mudumby in October 2020. Since its beginning, Superpage has helped over 2000 influencers to create, launch and monetize their websites. It also had the feature to enable video calls, eBooks and affiliate stores in their websites.

“AppX has taken many initiatives to encourage creators in monetizing their digital presence. This acquisition is regarded to be one of them. The team at Superpage has shown an impressive building and growth strategy. We are planning to acquire more such companies in the future, which help creators by building products that contribute to their success.” – said Sameer Sadana, Founder and CEO of AppX.

After the acquisition, the founders of Superpage – Vyshnavi Mudumby and Srivatsa Mudumby – will join the team at Appx to lead its growth, product and technology verticals.

“The mission and growth that AppX has shown in aiding the creators were really exciting to us. We are looking forward to partnering with the AppX team to empower more creators to create their online businesses faster so that they can take on their passions as full-time careers, and to simultaneously empower them to get more closely connected to their communities” – they said in a statement after the acquisition.

Additionally, the company also plans to launch products such as courses, podcasts, workshops and newsletters for creators, to host and sell them on their superpages.

The platform AppX has a network of more than 3000 creators, working with them across domains like gaming, edtech, skill development fitness etc. Their social media presence and communities are being monetized using AppX.
