The Brand Intellifabrix aims to add Rs 50 to Rs 100 crore to the current sales revenue of Rs 1000 crore from the sales of anti-virus fabrics and garments in a few months. The company responded to this new initiative that they found that the virus and bacteria can remain active on textile surfaces for up to two days by research. When the garments are treated with HeiQ Viroblock viruses will be inhibited actively and kill them upon contact. It helps in minimizing the potential for retransmission of pathogens through clothing.
The executive director of Arvind Ltd, Kulin Lalbhai told that the company decided to come up with this initiative to help their customers to be safe because of which they decided to tie up with HeiQ to bring revolutionary Virolock technology to India. Recently they are engaged in introducing fabrics with best in class viral protection and fashionable at the same time. Its product is planned to make accessible to customers through 1000 outlets in the country. The cost of the shirt made of this technology will be about Rs 2500 while for the fabrics it will be priced between Rs 600 to Rs 1000per meter.
