As the new head of marketing, Dilpreeta Vasudeva joins Meta.

One of the richest firms in the world is called Meta. Along with Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, and Alphabet, it is regarded as one of the Big Five American technological corporations. Facebook Watch, Facebook Portal, Messenger, and Facebook are examples of meta products and services. Additionally, it owns 9.99 percent of Jio Platforms and has invested in Oculus, Giphy, Mapillary, Customer, and Precise. The sale of advertising placements to marketers accounted for 97.5% of the company’s income in 2021.


Dilpreeta Vasudeva has been appointed by Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp parent company Meta as the marketing head for corporate communications.


Dilpreeta Vasudeva has been hired by Meta to serve as the vertical’s head of marketing for business communications. She will be in charge of Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp’s business marketing efforts in her new position.


Dilpreeta is a successful executive and an ISB alumna who has worked with senior leadership teams at MNCs and Indian conglomerates to have extensive experience in over seven functional disciplines and categories of marketing. She was a pioneer in the digital transformation movement and has created digital-first enterprises as well as redesigned conventional ones, and created sustainable development engines through the launch of more than 40 brands, goods, and services.


High-performing marketing and digital teams have been established for four different sectors. She operates with a laser-like focus on long-term value creation, client centricity, and business impact. She is driven by a mission to assist growth-stage businesses to thrive faster by sharing the invaluable knowledge and insights she has acquired along the way through CMO Access.


Vasudeva, who calls herself a “Human-Behavior Enthusiast, Social-Experiment Designer,” has developed digital-first enterprises and reinvented old ones, making her “an early proponent of digital transformation.” Through the launch of more than 40 brands, products, and services, she has also established growth engines with a focus on long-term value creation, customer centricity, and business impact.


Vasudeva is a leader in contemporary marketing and digital strategy who has experience in over seven functional areas of marketing from her work with senior leadership teams of multinational corporations and Indian conglomerates.


Vasudeva leaves CMO Access, where she founded the company. She moved and changed her LinkedIn page to reflect it. The LinkedIn post by Vasudeva stated, “Me, meta, meta. I’m thrilled to join Meta as the business messaging marketing lead for WhatsApp, Instagram, and Messenger.”


She has worked for Tech Mahindra, Times Internet, Microsoft Corporation, Tata Play, and other companies during her 19-year career.
