Ather Energy has hired two new senior executives

As the firm enters its next chapter of expansion, Ather Energy, India’s leading electric scooter brand, has announced two crucial hires to enhance its leadership team.

In the last several months, consumers have reacted overwhelmingly positively to Ather Energy. Ather’s 450 series e-scooters are in high demand due to the increased need for sophisticated and engaging electric scooters.

“Delivering a great experience across the length of the customers’ journey has always been a strength and focus for us,” Ravneet Singh Phokela, Chief Business Officer, Ather Energy, said of the appointments. The ‘ownership experience’ is the phase of the trip that begins when the consumer receives the automobile.

Gurinder has been appointed as the new Head of Ownership Management, and I am thrilled to welcome him. Gurinder’s extensive experience in a variety of sectors and activities will be invaluable in assisting him in taking the Ather ownership experience to new heights. Gurinder leads the Customer Service, Ownership Products verticals, and other vehicle services.

Gurinder has worked in a variety of businesses, including banking, telecommunications, infrastructure (ATMs), and transportation networks, for over 24 years. His main areas of experience are global customer service management and managing in-house and outsourcing partners.

He was a Senior Director and Head-Customer and Partner Support Operations at Ola before joining Ather. He has worked for companies such as CMS Infosystems, Transaction Solutions International, and Mphasis.

“Murali, with his considerable experience in corporate communication, will manage the Public Relations function, leading media relations, influencer marketing, and public affairs,” Ravneet stated of Murali Sashidharan’s employment at Ather Energy. He’ll also be in charge of liaising with government and industry organizations.

Murali brings a plethora of knowledge to the table and will play a crucial part in the brand’s high-growth era. I’m thrilled to have both of them on board at this crucial point in our journey.”

Murali has 20 years of experience in developing goal-oriented communication strategies aimed at increasing stakeholder engagement and generating strong brand recall across audiences. His most recent position was with Ola, where he was in charge of the company’s mobility and electric businesses’ communications strategy.

He also oversaw the communication strategy for Ola’s London launch. The previous clients of Murali’s include Six degrees PR, Sony Pictures Network India, MSL 20:20, Royal Sundaram, Adfactors PR.

To meet rising demand, Ather Energy recently opened a second manufacturing facility in Hosur, bringing its total manufacturing capacity to 400,000 units, up from 120,000 units previously.

The corporation has also made significant investments in charging infrastructure to ensure a smooth and trouble-free transition to electric vehicles.
