~ 121 Heroes Help Children and Adults Battling Cancer!~
Mumbai, 28th December’23: Avaada Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Avaada Group, has achieved a significant milestone in its ongoing mission to uplift lives and contribute to societal well-being. The foundation successfully concluded a blood donation drive in collaboration with Tata Hospital, Asia’s largest cancer care facility, to address Mumbai’s persistent blood shortage crisis.
The blood donation camp, held at the Avaada Foundation Office Premises, witnessed an overwhelming response from the community. A total of 121 blood donors participated, generously contributing units of blood that will directly benefit children and adults battling cancer, providing a substantial boost to their healing process.
In a city where the demand for blood is a critical issue, with Mumbai facing a daily demand of 1000 units, the success of this drive is a testament to the generosity and compassion of the community. The units collected during the drive will significantly contribute to addressing the chronic shortage faced by Mumbai, especially during festive seasons when the demand intensifies.

First-Time Donors: More than 35% of the participants were first-time blood donors, showcasing the success of efforts to engage and inspire the youth to contribute to the community.
Symbol of Generosity: To enhance donor gratification, a unique approach was adopted by placing heart symbols on the donors’ arms, symbolizing the generosity and compassion displayed during the event.
