Accurate automatic scanning is applied to the electronic processing of insurance policies by Smart ID Engines. The software product captures vehicle ID, driver’s license and registration number data to help the insurance company provide its customers with a fast and secure remote onboarding experience.
To apply for a policy online, customers can register on the insurance company’s website by entering their personal information. To take out liability or comprehensive insurance, they also need to enter the details of the insured and the insured property by uploading images of the relevant documents. These can be either scans or photographs.
Smart ID Engine provides secure handling of personal data. The scanning software is installed on-site and processes the images without transmitting images or data to a service. The powerful solution recognizes the type of document and extracts all necessary data. The data is then automatically entered into the relevant fields of the offer, significantly reducing customer service time. Once registered, customers can purchase or renew insurance policies and easily download them from the website.
