As MD & CEO, he will be in charge of developing and implementing Bagrry’s robust growth strategy. A charismatic leader, Jayant Kapre has almost 26 years of experience in FMCG, mainly in the food sector. He had also managed to hold effective leadership responsibilities at brand names such as Wrigley, Frito Lay, McVitie’s as well as Britannia, and it has managed to grow as well as handled 9 companies before joining Bagrry’s. He is a packaged food industry veteran from India and Southeast Asia with a successful history of launching, turning around, and going to grow consumer-branded businesses. Kapre graduated from IIM Ahmedabad. At Bagrry’s, he will concentrate on solidifying the brand’s foundation and achieving long-term market growth. He will guide the brand as it continues to expand into relatively new categories that are consistent with its distinct personality.
