Today, India’s largest private general insurer, Bajaj Allianz General Insurance, released a unique health insurance rider called “Respect Senior Care Rider.” This rider makes it easier to take care of elderly parents. Bajaj Allianz General Insurance has teamed up with a large network of service providers to help insureds. The company offers a wide range of services and professionals who work together to give seniors the best care. This network can be used at any time by them or their family members. It saves customers money, makes them less stressed, and gives them access to a wide range of services.
The rider wants to put seniors and their family members who live far away at ease. This rider is available to people over 50 who have health insurance through their company. Plan 1 includes both planned and emergency Ambulance Services, Concierge Services like Home Assistance/Daily Care, Cyber, Travel Legal Assistance, and more. Plan 2 also offers teleconsultation for physiotherapy, nursing, and mental health care at home. With fall detection technology, the Plan 3 smartwatch tracks SP02, Body Temperature, Medicine Reminder, Heart Rate, SOS, and other vitals. If a fall is detected, the Fall Detection feature will let the service provider know to send help to the insured. At first, it will only be available in a few cities, but that will change soon.
Tapan Singhel, MD & CEO, Bajaj Allianz General Insurance, said, “India is a new country. Young people work all over the world and are often far from home. They worry about their old parents, who live in different parts of the country. The Respect senior care rider is our small way of easing this worry and helping our customers in times of need. This rider makes our customers’ lives easier by giving them a range of services that are designed to meet their health insurance needs and more.”
Senior Respect Care Rider will help the growing number of older people in the country get the health insurance they need. The rider will cover a wide range of health and senior citizen issues.
