Bajaj Allianz Life had launched first-of-its-kind video-based Digital Life Certification for their policyholders. The move will ease the annuity pension claim process of the policyholders.
The service has introduced keeping in mind the needs of senior citizens as they cannot visit the company’s branches to submit their life certificate because of the pandemic. The senior citizens can submit their Life Certificate or Certificate of Existence (COE) digitally with this new service to the company representative through a simple video call. The policyholders can submit digital proof of existence though a video call via its i-SERV video calling facility on WhatsApp.
Along with the video-based Digital Life Certification facility, Bajaj Allianz Life also has the facility for the submission of Life Certificate online. The experts are commenting that the new service will ease the claim process of the policyholders for the annuity pension. The policyholder has to come on video through the company’s i-SERV video calling facility on WhatsApp for the process to prove their existence digitally to the company representative. The entire process of submitting a Life Certificate is contactless and paperless.
The Chief-Operations and Customer Experience, Bajaj Allianz Life Kayzad Hiramanek stated that for the customer’s convenience and safety the Digital Life Certification service has been introduced. The company also take into consideration that mind how digitally inclined customers have become during the time of the pandemic. The Pune-based private life insurer announced the launch of Digital Life Certificate in June 2019. The move was a first-of-its-kind initiative in the industry.
