Sourav Ganguly, popularly called Maharaja of Indian cricket has been appointed as the brand ambassador of Bandhan Bank. Sourav Ganguly will help in amplifying the message of the bank- ‘ Jaahan Bandhan Wahaan Trust ‘and endorse its products and services. The message emphasizes the trust of their customers that the bank has been able to earn in its journey of seven years and over the last two decades in the various avatars before the bank.

                                    The journey of Bandhan bank and the career of Sourav Ganguly have lots of similarities between them. Just like, Sourav Ganguly led to the transformation of the Indian cricket team in the early 2000s, in the same way, Bandhan bank has led to the transformation of not-so-privileged rural and semi-urban households. Sourav Ganguly worked harder, scored runs, and established himself as a dependable member of the team, likewise, Bandhan bank first started as an NGO and then became a brand receiving the trust of people and stakeholders.
