Big Cricket League Launches Awareness Campaign “Are you a cricketer?” in Delhi-NCR

March 2025: In a unique awareness campaign not seen before in the world of cricket, Big Cricket League reached out to thousands on streets of Delhi-NCR with a human billboard outreach drive. Through human billboards that featured a QR Code & a simple question, “Are you a cricketer?” Big Cricket League interacted with thousands of people at several popular hotspots in Delhi, Noida and Gurugram.

Onlookers at places like Connaught Place (CP), India Gate and parts of NCR were intrigued by the human billboards and went on to scan the QR Code, which redirected them to a video explaining details of the Big Cricket League.

The campaign wasn’t restricted to markets & historic buildings as they also interacted with several cricketers sweating it out at hundreds of grounds across Delhi-NCR.

After a successful Season 1 held in December 2024, Big Cricket League will begin trials for Season 2 in March & the talent hunt will begin in Delhi. Big Cricket League aims to find the best amateur cricketers across the country and give them a chance to play with legends of the game like Shikhar Dhawan, Irfan Pathan, Suresh Raina and Yusuf Pathan, all of whom played in the inaugural season that garnered a live viewership of 1.6 crore across Sony Sports Network, Sony Liv and Fancode.

Annirudh Chauhan, Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder of BCL, said, The idea behind this billboard campaign was simple – creating awareness among people about our initiative & upcoming talent hunt. We are embarking on an exciting 6-month journey that will see Big Cricket League hunt for talents in 25 cities across India & scout from a pool of 1 lakh amateur cricketers, who want to see their cricketing dream come true.”

RP Singh, Founder & President of BCL, “I can’t wait for the talent hunt phase of Season 2 to begin & the team is overwhelmed with the response from this awareness campaign. People were intrigued, thrilled & excited to know what we are doing & I hope BCL reaches every household in India that loves cricket because it’s a league for the people who love cricket & want to be a part of it.”
