Blue Tokai introduces Cold Brew cans,a new ready-to-drink coffee

December 9, 2021: After defining the specialty coffee experience in India, Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters, India’s largest specialty coffee brand, launched its much-anticipated Cold Brew cans today. The range, which condenses Blue Tokai’s traditional cold brew process and its expertise into a delicious and accessible form, will be available in 6 unique flavours, namely Coffee Cherry, Tender Coconut, Passion Fruit, Classic Bold, Classic Light and the Single Origin from Ratnagiri Estate. With the tagline ‘pairs perfectly with your everyday’, the cans are an ideal companion for all daily activities while unlocking the comfort of a cold brew.

To ensure perfection every time you crack open a cold brew can, Blue Tokai sources its Arabica beans from leading Indian farms and estates, which are roasted with precision by an expert team of roasters. The coffee is then steeped for a minimum of 18 hours to achieve the perfect brew with complex flavour notes and balanced bitterness and acidity. The Cold Brew cans will utilise the process of nitro-flushing to preserve the original flavours in the can for a much longer time.

A unique blend of taste and comfort, the Cold Brew cans will unravel some novel flavours. The Tender Coconut offers a refreshing, tropical flavour to Blue Tokai’s signature brewing process, while the Passion Fruit option combines tangy and fruity flavours. The Coffee Cherry’s fruity, tea-like brew is made with handpicked coffee cherries sourced directly from Blue Tokai’s partner farms. This flavour is specifically made with the dried skin of coffee cherries (known as Cascara), giving it a tea-like flavour profile. In addition to these, the range also includes Blue Tokai’s widely popular Classic Light and Classic Bold flavours along with Single Origin Coffee from Ratnagiri Estate.
